Theme editor links
Use a link to open the theme editor of the seller's active theme with one of your app blocks ready to place. Put the link in your app, for example in your onboarding steps.
All links start with:
https://seller-area.youcan.shop/admin/themes/current/editThe seller must be logged in to the store where your app is installed. The changes from a link are not saved: the seller sees the result in the preview, then saves or discards it.
In both links, the block ID is your app ID and the block file name without the .liquid extension, joined by /. Your app ID is the id in youcan.app.json.

When the target section does not exist, or app blocks are not allowed in it, the block is added to a new Apps section at the end of the template. When the block cannot be added at all, for example because the template has the maximum number of sections, an error message is shown to the seller.
Open an app embed
