# thankyou

The `thankyou` template handles the rendering of the post-purchase thank-you page shown to customers after completing an order.

## Location

The `thankyou` template is located in the `templates` directory of the theme.

## Usage

Renders only after a successful checkout. Direct visits fall back to the home page. You get the [order object](/themes/objects/order) for the completed order, and the purchase tracking script is added to the layout for you.
