# `sections`

Use it to render a [section group](/themes/sections/section-groups) by its file name, without the `.json` extension.

```liquid
{% sections 'header-group' %}
```

With the example above, the sections of `sections/header-group.json` are rendered in the order of `order`. Disabled sections are not rendered.

## Argument

* `name`: The group file name, without the `.json` extension. Use a quoted string.

When no group file is found with that name, nothing is rendered.

## Example

```liquid
<body>
  {% sections 'header-group' %}

  {{ content_for_layout }}

  {% sections 'footer-group' %}
</body>
```
