# Font URL

Returns the URL of the `woff2` file of a [font](/themes/objects/font) on Google, for its latin characters. Use it to preload the font. A system font returns nothing.

## Example

```liquid
<link rel="preload" as="font" type="font/woff2" href="{{ settings.heading_font | font_url }}" crossorigin>
```
