The `t` filter supports interpolation and plural forms, and falls back to the default locale file. Schema translations accept keys with hyphens.

# Theme translations

## Translations

* A key that is missing in the locale file of the active language comes from the default locale file. Before, the filter returned the key. See [Missing translations](/themes/locales/storefront-locale-files#missing-translations).
* Named arguments replace {{ name }} variables in the translation. See [Interpolation](/themes/locales/storefront-locale-files#interpolation).
* `count` selects the plural form of the translation, with the plural rules of the language. See [Pluralization](/themes/locales/storefront-locale-files#pluralization).
* `t:` keys in schemas can contain `-`, and a translation can contain quotes. Before, such keys were not translated in the theme editor.
* A schema key that is missing in the schema locale file of the theme editor language comes from the default schema locale file.
* The same rules apply to app blocks.

## Conditional settings

* The theme editor evaluates Liquid `visible_if` conditions and shows a setting only when its condition is true. See [Liquid conditions](/themes/settings/overview#liquid-conditions).
