Variables that you create in a snippet rendered with `render` are now kept inside the snippet.

# Variables in rendered snippets

* Variables that you create with `assign` or `capture` in a snippet rendered with `render` are kept inside the snippet. They are not visible after the `render` tag.
* The value of a variable with the same name outside the snippet is not changed.
* Inside the snippet, you can still read the variables of the template, section or snippet where the tag is.
* With `include`, variables are shared both ways. See [`render`](/themes/tags/render).
