You can define color schemes that sellers edit in the theme editor, and sellers can pick a scheme for each section.

# Color schemes

* Define the color schemes with a `color_scheme_group` setting in `settings_schema.json`. See [color\_scheme\_group](/themes/settings/input_settings#color_scheme_group).
* Add a `color_scheme` setting to a section or block so the seller can pick a scheme. You get a [color\_scheme](/themes/objects/color_scheme) object. See [color\_scheme](/themes/settings/input_settings#color_scheme).
* Use `settings.color_schemes` to loop over every scheme or to get one scheme by ID.
* With a `color_background` setting, the seller picks a gradient, and you get a CSS background value. See [color\_background](/themes/settings/input_settings#color_background).
