--- url: https://docs.youcan.shop/changelog/collection-listings.md --- Themes can list products and collections without a setting for each one: `collections`, `collection.products`, `all_products`, and a `paginate` tag for any of these lists. *** # Objects * `collections` looks up a collection by slug, `collections['all']` lists every product, and looping over `collections` lists the top-level collections. See [collections](/themes/objects/collections). * Every collection has `products` (the first 50, in the collection's sort order), `products_count`, `all_products_count`, `title`, `handle` and `url`. See [category](/themes/objects/category). * `all_products['slug']` looks up a product by slug, up to 20 per page. See [all\_products](/themes/objects/all_products). * The collection page also sets `collection`, and `/collections/all` lists every product. # Pagination * `{% paginate collection.products by 24 %}` paginates any of these lists. Inside the tag the list holds the current page, and the `paginate` object has `current_page`, `pages`, `items`, `previous`, `next` and `parts`. See [paginate](/themes/tags/paginate). * The older form with an id and `items` still works, but it is deprecated.
