# Getting Started with YouCan Apps CLI

### Access Your Development Store

Run the following command to connect your app with your YouCan development store for testing:

```sh
youcan auth login
```

### Initializing a New App

When building a YouCan App, you can directly initialize it by running the following command, which will set up all the necessary configurations and dependencies, including [YouCan CLI](https://github.com/youcan-shop/cli/):

```sh
npm init @youcan/app@latest
```

or if you’re using pnpm:

```sh
pnpm create @youcan/app@latest
```

During this setup, you will be prompted to choose between app templates for creating **Embedded Apps** or **Theme App Extensions**.
